A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, he served as an officer in the US Army, earning the Bronze Star Medal as a task force intelligence officer during Operation Iraqi Freedom. After leaving the military, he earned an MBA from Columbia Business School. Jackson has deep supply chain and project management experience from within the industry and as a consultant. Most recently, he worked for two Big Four accounting firms and served as head of operations for a MedTech startup. Here, Jackson discusses his professional path, his important role as #girldad and his love of Army football: ‘I love paying it forward’ Greetings and Salutations. For the past year, I can honestly say I have thoroughly enjoyed supporting students and recent graduates on their paths to greatness. I remember the support I needed and received during my academic and professional career. I love paying it forward by supporting this next generation of business leaders. I’ve had the opportunity to work with some pretty amazing organizations and hold some impressive roles, but the most important job I’ve had for the past 13 years is Dad.   Marcus Jackson My wife Hana and I have two daughters—Zahara, 13, and Asha, 3, going on 35, as she “runs the house.” When I have any spare time remaining after being a #girldad, I enjoy all things Army Football, scouting out new restaurants to identify potential brunch spots, spending time with my sister and other extended family, and volunteering in the community with my fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Marcus Jackson, assistant director of career development Jackson, who has worked at Olin since 2023, is a devoted dad to two daughters and an Army Football fan.
