Our physicians are experts in glaucoma treatment, and give compassionate care to each of our patients. Glaucoma damages the eye’s optic nerve, and is the leading cause of blindness in the United States. Glaucoma usually occurs when the fluid pressure in the eyes slowly rises, damaging the optic nerve. Often there are no symptoms at first, but comprehensive eye exams can help detect glaucoma. People at risk should get eye exams at least every two years.
