We are a confidential resource for staff, postdocs and graduate students. Schedule An Appointment Facilitate Ombuds provide a space for staff, postdocs and graduate students to share and resolve their concerns. Navigate Ombuds help others understand university policies, practices and procedures. Illuminate Ombuds bring to light emerging problems or concerns that may impact the entire campus community. Educate Ombuds promote a conflict competent culture that is resilient, flexible and collaborative. The Office of the Ombuds is not authorized to accept notice of claims against the university. As a confidential campus resource, the Office of the Ombuds is neither a “responsible employee” in relation to sexual harassment/misconduct nor authorized to serve as a “campus security authority” for purposes of reporting crimes on campus. The Office of the Ombuds for staff, postdocs and graduate students reports administratively to the Executive Vice Chancellor for Administration and is not part of any other department, group or school on campus.   ©2024 Washington University in St. Louis
