The historic, nationally-recognized Central Institute of the Deaf shares our building on the Washington University Medical Center, and students experience hands-on training from their first semesters on campus. We’re also proud to share faculty, facilities and resources with Washington University’s prestigious Department of Otolaryngology, including its Adult Audiology Clinic, Adult Cochlear Implant Program and research labs.  St. Louis Children’s Hospital is also here on campus, and their pediatric audiology clinics and pediatric cochlear implant program provide additional opportunities for our Doctor of Audiology students. Off campus, our students can find even more teaching and clinical opportunities at 50+ local sites. Our vast network of affiliated organizations and our commitment to hands-on training are among the many reasons our AuD and MSDE programs have a 100% job placement rate: prospective employers know that WashU PACS graduates are passionate, professional and prepared to succeed.  As for our city: PACS students from across the country fall in love with St. Louis, which offers affordable housing, vibrant arts and culture and an up-and-coming food scene. Living in St. Louis » “PACS provides the highest quality of education. As a student you have access to resources, facilities, and faculty from one of the top medical schools in the country. You have the opportunity to learn from instructors who are not only experts in their respective fields, but also have practical experience in the clinic and classroom.”Robin Lockwood, MSDE (2020), Teacher, Weingarten Children’s Center (Redwood City, CA) About PACS Why WashU?
