At this five-day training, participants will get a hands-on introduction to systems science methods with a focus on five main tracks: Intro to Systems (Virginia McKay & Alexandra Morshed, instructors), Agent-based Modeling (Ross Hammond & Matt Kasman, instructors), Group Model Building (Ellis Ballard & Kelsey Werner, instructors), Social Network Analysis (Douglas Luke & Sara Malone, instructors), and System Dynamics (Nasim Sabounchi & Kristen Hassmiller Lich, instructors). Participants will review the major concepts of their chosen track/method, learn analytic best practices, and apply the methods to real-world data. The workshops are designed for faculty, advanced graduate students, recent graduates, and professionals from public health, social work, and social sciences. The application process is open; candidates will be accepted on monthly basis through July 19, 2024.
