Students Tiantian Wang, MSCA (Dec.) 2024; Ting-Ju (Alice) Chen, MSSCM (Dec.) 2024; and Tanya Bansal, MBA 2025, competed on behalf of the team that won Project of the Year for their work for Copeland. Their team was among five who presented their projects to judges at the eighth annual Boeing Center Project of the Year Symposium, held on May 9, 2024. Judges included representatives from this year’s client companies whose project teams competed in the symposium—Copeland, Anheuser-Busch, Bunge, Edward Jones and Express Scripts—as well as other members of the Boeing Center Advisory Board. In addition to project of the year, student teams won awards for business impact and best presentation. Winning teams claimed a share of a $5,000 award pool and will be inducted into the Boeing Center Projects Hall of Fame. The annual symposium showcases the talents of Olin students who take on real-life supply chain and operations challenges for the companies. These projects frequently result in internships and job offers for students who work on them. Chen said that the Boeing Center project has had a substantial impact on her own career path. As business school students, we’ve (worked on) plenty of cases, but I would say that none of them can bring as much power as the Boeing Center project does. I would say that the Boeing Center project functions as the cornerstone for my career.   —Ting-Ju (Alice) Chen Learn more about this year’s competition.
