Since its founding, the Women’s Society has contributed to the university and St. Louis in countless ways. Members are proud of the support they give to Washington University students, including two full-tuition scholarships each year to St. Louis Community College graduates who transfer to WashU. The WSWU also honors one or more graduating WashU senior women each year with the Harriet K. Switzer Award and supports many student projects and programs with funding grants awarded annually. Lectures and EventsThe Women’s Society of Washington University sponsors an annual lecture series featuring distinguished Washington University faculty members who cover a wide range of current topics.See our current lecture schedule imageWant to get involved?Regardless of how much time you have to give, there are many ways to participate in the Women’s Society.
