His current research centers on understanding multi-level mechanisms and pathways for integrating non-communicable disease care in individuals living with HIV in resource-limited settings. Emmanuel is also an investigator on the Clear Path Project, which aims to support targeted and coordinated HIV testing among service providers to end the epidemic in the St. Louis Region. At the Brown School, Emmanuel works primarily within the Center for Public Health Systems Science. He has also taught graduate-level courses in Global Health, Research, and Epidemiological methods to graduate students at the school. Emmanuel is an alumnus of the Brown School and a member of the Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health.
