We tell the stories of Arts & Sciences and publish the print and digital editions of the Ampersand, produce the Hold That Thought podcast, and manage the Arts & Sciences website. We also work closely with University Marketing and Communications (formerly known as Public Affairs), which produces The Record, the main WashU website, and Washington magazine, to assist them in prioritizing and scheduling content to those outlets. Learn more about A&S Communications   Arts & Sciences Strategic Plan In 2021, Arts & Sciences developed a new strategic plan. The creation of this plan began in spring 2021 and engaged the entire A&S community—faculty, staff, students, alumni and external community members—through a series of focus groups, surveys, town hall meetings, and individual stakeholder interviews. Leadership included a 12-person steering committee and four working groups composed of Arts & Sciences faculty and staff. As articulated in the A&S Strategic Plan, the vision for the next ten years is a transformed school that will rise in prominence to serve as a global model for a school of arts and sciences. Our four goals are to enhance academic distinction, advance excellence in education, promote diversity, inclusion, and access, as well as deepen our impact on St. Louis and the world. Learn More about the Strategic Plan   University Advancement University Advancement is a talented, knowledgeable team dedicated to strengthening the university and its worldwide network of alumni and friends. The passion for WashU and its mission drives University Advancement to pursue excellence in everything it does. Through its work, University Advancement aspires to be leaders in fostering a culture of involvement and philanthropy to advance the mission of the university.
