Student Outcomes Profiles Ali Litwicki Engineer Emerson Residence St. Louis MO Leader IT Teams Filling Gaps in Business Education Leading IT Teams I coach and lead IT teams working in Agile methodologies. As a &＃8220;release train engineer,&＃8221; I support the Agile framework teams by managing risks and assisting in improvements. In that role, I interact with&＃8212;and often influence changes at&＃8212;many levels of the organization. Why Olin? I have an atypical undergraduate degree, and the gap in my business education had been weighing on me. I saw an MBA program as a great way to supplement the professional skills I&＃8217;ve developed after 10 years on the job. I&＃8217;d also admired the leadership qualities in Emerson managers who are Olin alumni. I was encouraged to follow in their footsteps. Surprise Realization I've had great experiences getting to know fellow students. But the most startling experience was discovering how much I liked my accounting courses. Coming from a fine arts background, accounting seemed like the last thing I&＃8217;d be interested in. But I was wrong. A Great Resource The career center is a great resource. Even as someone who&＃8217;s already working in the industry, I&＃8217;m grateful to have the coaches and counselors available to guide my career path.
