An interdisciplinary approach to these issues provides students with effective, innovative and critical thinking skills to find effective and impactful solutions. The Olin MBA curriculum offers a comprehensive set of required and elective courses built upon a foundation of critical-thinking and leadership skills. Olin MBAs are able to shape the curriculum to meet their unique personal objectives, incorporating the MEng degree requirements. Program Overview Hours Required for MBA 51 (66 less 15 transferred from MEng-EECE) Hours Required for MEng 24 (30 less 6 transferred from MBA) Total Hours for Dual Degree 75 (both degree granted simultaneously) Program Duration 2.5 years Summers Internships Program Start August only Program Order Start with either Application Apply to and be accepted by both programs When to apply Must apply to 2nd program before the end of the 1st year. It is preferable that the student applies to both prior to matriculation. Required exam GMAT or GRE Students pursuing the MEng/MBA option may, of course, choose whichever core courses and pathway electives they prefer for the MEng. However, we expect many will choose to pursue the Energy & Environmental Management Pathway, which will complement the MBA course work. Both MEng and MBA degrees will be awarded simultaneously at the completion of the program.
