It is responsible for providing students with an outstanding opportunity to learn about taking care of patients. The Department of Medicine and the Division of General Medicine take this responsibility seriously and strive to provide a rewarding experience for all students. The Clerkship also serves as an opportunity for Internal Medicine residents to participate in mentored teaching through the Teaching Physician Pathway.
