Use the dropdown to switch among the search options: Classic Catalog Try the Classic Catalog, which searches the WashU collections, including books, eBooks, journals, and films. A basic Classic Catalog search from the homepage will show both print and eBook formats in the results. From your results page, you can limit search to online results by selecting the "Modify Search" button, which you will find above the search term box. Scroll down a bit until you see the "Material Type" options. Select "Electronic Resource" Or, begin with the advanced search screen Enter your search terms Scroll down a bit until you see the "Material Type" options. Select "Electronic Resource" eJournals & eBooks Search using Online Journals, Books and more Your initial search results will include eJournals as well. Click the "Books Only" radio button on your results page to eliminate journal titles. NOTE: Your search terms search only in the title field. For example, Marley & Me would not show in the results of a search for "dogs" Quick Search Try Quick Search, our tool that searches books, journals, periodicals, and multimedia in the WashU Libraries collection: Search by keyword, title, or author Look for limiting options to the left of your result list Apply “Full-text Online” from the “Show Only” Select “Book” from the “Resource Type” choices. Note: you may need to scroll down to select “Show More” if “Book” does not appear as a “Resource Type” choice.
