The ranking, released on Thursday, relied on&＃160;new methodology&＃160;from previous years and scored Olin highly among US business schools for post-graduate compensation among WashU MBA recipients. &＃8220;Olin&＃8217;s mission focuses on producing and serving business leaders who will change the world&＃8212;not on rankings,&＃8221; said Dean Mark P. Taylor. &＃8220;But when we see a series of rankings confirming our momentum at WashU Olin, we can be gratified that our work is being affirmed and recognized.&＃8221; Almost simultaneously,&＃160;The Princeton Review&＃160;released its annual ranking of business schools and placed WashU Olin&＃8217;s full-time MBA in the top five in the country&＃160;for resources for women. That further reinforced an earlier&＃160;Financial Times&＃160;ranking that&＃160;placed Olin No. 4 globally&＃160;for MBA programs for women. These latest results join a series of other recent rankings of business programs around the country and the world, including: The&＃160;Financial Times&＃160;global MBA ranking in March, in which&＃160;Olin jumped 18 places, landing in the world&＃8217;s top 50. The&＃160;FT&＃8217;s global ranking of executive MBA programs last month, which&＃160;placed our Shanghai Executive MBA sixth&＃160;in the world&＃8212;up one from the previous year. The Economist&＃8217;s 2018 global ranking of MBA programs, also in October,&＃160;placed Olin 37th&＃160;in the world, up six places from the previous year. Poets & Quants&＃8217;&＃160;undergraduate ranking in 2017, which placed&＃160;in the top two in the nation&＃160;along with Wharton. The&＃160;TFE Times&＃160;master of finance rankings&＃160;placed Olin fourth&＃160;in the US in 2018.
