She also manages registration and billing for Arts & Sciences and Engineering study abroad semester programs and faculty-led summer programs. Originally from Texas, Alex made her way to Missouri to attend Rockhurst University in Kansas City, where she received her BSBA with a major in accounting and minor in theology. During college, she worked as a front desk assistant for the Registrar, Financial Aid, and Student Accounts Office, which was her first exposure to working in higher education. After moving to St. Louis, Alex held various corporate positions in accounting, project management, and document retention until she was hired at WashU.
