Our association aims to serve both Masters and PhD students and is dedicated to establishing a strong and inclusive community. Our mission is to ensure that all graduate students at WashU have a positive experience during their academic journey. We understand the demands of graduate studies and recognize that each student has unique needs. Therefore, we strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all members. In addition, we aim to connect graduate students across different departments and schools at WashU by building bridges and providing networking opportunities. Our goal is to foster a sense of community and support among all graduate students at WashU. Past A&S GSA EventsAmong many creative submissions for our Logo contest, Heather Blue’s logo design impressed our judges the most and she took home a cash prize of $300.An ice cream social to greet/meet and get to know our new PhD and Masters students.Started off our academic year with a Family and Friends BBQ at Forest Park. To fulfill this mission, A&S GSA organizes and sponsors a full calendar of activities throughout the year, ranging from purely professional to completely casual. In addition, GSA sends representatives to the Professional and Graduate Student Coordinating Committee (ProGradS), the campus-wide Graduate Student Senate (GSS), and the Graduate Professional Council (GPC). 2023-2024 A&S GSA Executive Board Officers The A&S GSA is a student-led organization that represents all graduate students in A&S, coordinating activities and programming for those students.
