Our Summer Program is an excellent way to get involved in cutting-edge research, to find out what it’s like to be a graduate student, and get paid for it. Participating in an undergraduate research project is a great way to learn a lot about a specific area and to try your hand at a cutting-edge research topic. If you are thinking about graduate school, this is also an excellent opportunity to find out what research is about and to get experience before applying. Research projects also demonstrate to potential employers that you are capable of moving beyond coursework to solve an open-ended problem. Plus, it’s fun! We welcome both domestic students andinternational students studying in US institutions. If you have any questions about our program, please feel free to email: [email protected]. “If you have any inclination towards research in computer science, you must take part in an REU. It was one of the best experiences for me, and it was a learning experience at the same time!” – Past REU Participant McKelvey School of EngineeringDepartment of Computer Science & Engineering1 Brookings Dr.McKelvey Hall, Suite 1010HSaint [email protected] ©2024 Washington University in St. Louis
