The clinical setting is only the beginning of our multidisciplinary care. A forty-plus member head and neck tumor board also reviews diagnoses and recommendations for patient treatments at bimonthly meetings. This board includes all clinical disciplines involved in patient care. To learn more about our colleagues in medical and radiation oncology, please visit: Medical Oncology Radiation Oncology Advanced Head and Neck Skin Cancers The Washington University Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Cancer specializes in the treatment of advanced head and neck skin cancers, which includes melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, Merkel cell carcinoma, and other forms of skin cancers. Our department has surgeons who experienced in the removal and reconstruction of advanced head and neck skin cancers. At Washington University, patients are cared for by a multi-disciplinary team of surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, dermatologists, and pathologists who are all focused primarily on providing the most up-to-date and exceptional care for advanced skin cancer.
