Overview The MSI syndromes were developed by Shirley Sahrmann, PT, PhD and her colleagues. These syndromes are described in her books, Diagnosis and Treatment of Movement Impairment Syndromes and Movement System Impairment Syndromes of the Extremities, Cervical and Thoracic Spine. Our MSI courses teach you to identify faulty alignment, movement patterns, and muscle imbalances using observation of movement as well as muscle length and strength testing. You will also learn how to alleviate and prevent mechanical musculoskeletal pain through treatment focused on the restoration of optimal alignment and appropriate movement patterns. We provide a certificate of completion that includes contact hours, course description, course objectives, and list of speakers. Course participants will need to check their own state board’s requirement for acceptance of the course to fulfill licensure renewal CEUs. If the participant requires additional documentation to meet his or her state board licensure requirements, an additional administration fee will be assessed.   Request additional information about our MSI courses Visit our calendar to find out about MSI courses all over the world Find out where Shirley Sahrmann is speakingAll course and webinar inquiries can be directed to [email protected] Flagship Courses June 2024 Introduction Course for the Upper Quarter Movement System Syndromes of the ShoulderDate: June 8-9, 2024Location: Virtual CourseRegistration Opens: TBDAdditional Information: www.learnmovementsystem.com October 2024 Movement System Syndromes of the Shoulder and Neck, hybrid course Date: October 5-6, 2024Location: 4444 Forest Park, St. Louis, MO & VirtualRegistration Opens: TBDAdditional Information: www.learnmovementsystem.com Past Courses September / October 2023 Femoral and Hip Movement System Impairment Syndromes: Advanced Applications Date: September 30 – October 1, and / or October 2, 2023Location: 4444 Forest Park Ave., St. Louis, MO, 63108 OR VirtualRegistration: www.learnmovementsystem.com June 2023 Introduction to Movement System Impairment Syndromes of the Lumbar Spine Date: June 10-11, 2023Location: VIRTUALRegistration: www.learnmovementsystem.comRegistration fee: $400 ($450 after 5/21/2023) October 2022 Advanced Course for the Upper Quarter Date: October 1-2, 2022Location: 4444 Forest Park Ave., St. Louis, MO, 63108 Learn MoreRegistration for On-Site Participation is now closed.
