Membership committees are made up of Eliot Society volunteers who are connected by school, program, council city, or level of membership. Committee members promote the university and plan events for Eliot Society members in their communities. Membership committees also help the university connect with local, regional, and global alumni and parents. By sharing their personal WashU stories and reasons for giving, committee members encourage others to engage with and support Washington University at the Eliot Society level. Eliot volunteers serve on membership committees for seven academic divisions, as well as Parent Programs, University Libraries, Weidenbaum Center, Gephardt Institute, Skandalaris Center, Department of Athletics, and in 22 cities across the United States.
