Our mission is to promote quality and consistency in the representation of the university on all branded commercial and promotional products. Through this program, we support the procurement and distribution of promotional apparel and other products, including recommending suppliers, soliciting bids, enlisting design assistance, and meeting with partners and retailers on customized projects and needs. When you support the university’s licensed suppliers, you simultaneously support just and humane working conditions around the world. Artwork approval process Use of Washington University in St. Louis names and images for any retail or commercial purpose, for endorsements, promotions, and the like requires the written, official permission of the university. All licensed suppliers should submit artwork approvals through Workspace. To order apparel, promotional items or other products representing Washington University or its schools, departments, programs and other units: Use a licensed supplierOur licensed suppliers are authorized to produce merchandise with Washington University trademarked names and symbols. They are familiar with our brand and trademark requirements and will take care of the hard part for you. Choose official artworkWork with your licensed supplier to develop artwork that meets the university’s licensing requirements and the School of Medicine guidelines. Get the artwork approvedYour chosen supplier will submit the artwork for approval.
