The graduate curriculum provides diverse opportunities for structured, supervised and independent learning. In addition, the research activities of our faculty are broad in scope, ranging from basic to translational. View faculty The department plays a pivotal role in the immunology program within the Division of Biology and Biomedical Sciences. However, our faculty members contribute to several other programs in the division including: Biochemistry Cell and Molecular Biology Computational Biology Developmental Biology Molecular Microbiology and Microbial Pathogenesis Molecular Biophysics Molecular Genetics Neurosciences The heads of the basic science medical departments, the Department of Pathology & Immunology and the Department of Biology form an executive committee that oversees all graduate student programs. Any student admitted to the Division of Biology and Biomedical Sciences has the option of pursuing graduate training with a member of the Department of Pathology & Immunology.
