Here are brief descriptions of the programs. Be sure to visit the links for more information. Gateway to Business Olin’s Gateway to Business course is a pre-college course that offers high school students the opportunity to learn about business and professional communications over the summer. The three-credit course is for rising high school sophomores to seniors who may be interested in pursuing business as a major or minor in college. The course provides a general understanding of business and helps develop leadership and teamwork skills. Students will also work on developing their personal brand and a personal statement for a college essay. The hybrid program includes four virtual sessions and a one-week residency on WashU’s campus in St. Louis.  Application deadline: April 17 Cost: $4,750 Credits: 3 Virtual dates: June 16, 23, 30 and July 14 Six residential dates: July 17–22 BOLD@Olin BOLD@Olin is our summer program for rising junior and senior high school students who identify as women and are interested in learning more about business. Students will be immersed in life-changing opportunities for personal growth. They also will gain mentorship from Olin Business School faculty; build professional relationships with accomplished female leaders; and uncover their leadership potential. Application deadline: March 11 Cost: $750 Credits: None Program dates: July 17–23 Olin Fleischer Scholars Program The Olin Fleischer Scholars Program provides a weeklong educational experience for rising junior and senior high school students. This program is designed to to help first-in-family college students, underrepresented students of color, and students from low-income households prepare for the college admission process, learn about business and entrepreneurship and experience college life.
