Each year, the Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity & Equity offers fellowships for select graduate students interested in the study of race/ethnicity. The Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity & Equity supports graduate student research through two fellowship programs, for both incoming and advanced PhD students. Our goal is to foster a community of emerging scholars in the field of race and ethnicity studies, broadly defined. The CRE2 Graduate Fellowship is a legacy program for outstanding doctoral students newly admitted to Washington University in St. Louis who are interested in the study of race and ethnicity. Meet our current fellows below.  The CRE2 Race & Ethnicity Scholars fellowship is offered annually to three graduate students whose works aligns with race, ethnicity, and equity. Based on a review of good-standing as Fellows and progress towards the degree, the fellowship is renewable for an additional year. All CRE2 graduate student fellows participate in CRE2 sponsored events and workshops. Fellows are invited to share research or creative work in process with their cohort and Center Affiliates in both the Fall and Spring as well as take advantage of special professional development opportunities, and propose future Center programming.  Eligibility Only CRE2 Graduate Student Affiliates are eligible to apply for this fellowship.
