Paz’s long-standing research program centers those most marginalized in the LGBTQ+ community (i.e., transgender, bisexual, and LGBTQ+ Black, Indigenous, and People of Color [BIPOC]). Paz has published over 100 peer reviewed articles and chapters and developed eight different research measures. Prior to joining the Brown School, Paz served as Professor of Psychology at Towson University. Paz is currently Editor for the Journal of Bisexuality and Associate Editor for the International Journal of Transgender Health, the official journal for the World Professional Association for Transgender Health.
