Our emergency medicine trainees learn from national leaders in the field at one of the nation’s most respected medical centers, gaining knowledge and cutting-edge skills in emergency medicine while working in a Level 1 Trauma Center with highest ED volume in the state. Residents and fellows treat a large and diverse patient population, which provides outstanding career preparation and research opportunities. The department offers a collaborative, inclusive environment, where trainees are surrounded by supportive faculty and peers. Trainees are encouraged explore individual interests outside of their specialty in emergency medicine (i.e. global health) with full support from the chief.
