This project, concepted and developed exclusively by Washington University School of Medicine residents, shares the stories of women faculty across the School of Medicine through personal interviews. These interviews feature residents one-on-one with their role models and honor the individual journeys, professional and personal, of female faculty throughout their careers, providing a glimpse into the struggles and successes unique to women in medicine. Interview with Victoria Fraser, MD Victoria Fraser, MD, is the Adolphus Busch Professor of Medicine and Chair of the Department of Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine. She is the first female chair of a clinical department at Washington University and is a fierce advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion&＃8230; Interview with Rakhee Bhayani, MD Rakhee Bhayani, MD, is an associate program director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Washington University School of Medicine. She is also the co-founder and director of the Forum for Women in Medicine&＃8230; Interview with Amber Deptola, MD Amber Deptola, MD is an associate program director of the Internal Medicine Residency. She completed residency at Washington University, served as chief resident and is now director of the Ambulatory Care Curriculum and co-director of the Teaching Physician Pathway&＃8230; Interview with Dominique Cosco, MD, FACP Dominique Cosco is an associate professor and program director of the Internal Medicine Residency. She is a nationally recognized medical educator and has held significant educational and leadership roles&＃8230; Interview with Ilana Rosman, MD Dr. Ilana Rosman is an associate professor of Dermatology and Pathology, and Dermatology Residency Program Director at Washington University in St. Louis&＃8230; Interview with Megan Wren, MD Megan Wren, MD is a Washington University undergraduate, medical school and residency alumna.
