No matter where you live, you can participate in and support Washington University’s Black Alumni Council—there are many ​ways to get involved! Host a BAC reception in your city One of the best ways to engage with the Black Alumni Council and the university is by joining a Black Alumni Council Regional Network. The Black Alumni Council’s founding network is in St. Louis, but we are expanding our outreach nationally. We are currently seeking energetic volunteers in Atlanta, Washington-Baltimore, Chicago, New York, and San Francisco. The Alumni Student Relations Committee serves an ambassadorial body to our undergraduate and graduate students, working closely with student organizations to provide social, mentoring, and networking opportunities to our students throughout the academic year. The Community Outreach Committee develops events to engage WashU Black alumni in programs which serve both Washington University as well as the local community. This committee may partner with the College Prep Program and the Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement. The Networking and Social Events Committee plans and organizes events and programs to strengthen the community of Washington University black alumni in your city or region.   If you are looking for a way to connect with Black alumni in your city, please contact the Black Alumni Council or call 314-935-4557.  Learn more about the Black Alumni Council Arts patrons gathered for a reception after the concert by the Ritz Chamber Players at the E.
