Established in 1947, our ASHA-accredited AuD program is among the oldest and most prestigious of its kind. “You will not find a place that will set you up to be a better audiologist. There is no place like WashU, and no other program that can provide the same level of education and mentorship. You will come out far ahead of your peers.”Melissa Wikoff, AuD (2009), Founder and Director of Audiology, Peachtree Hearing (Atlanta, GA) Clinical experiences that empower you to succeed Clinical experiences begin in your very first semester, culminating in a full-time clinical externship during your final year of study. You’ll work alongside experts in the field at sites like WashU’s department Department of Otolaryngology and our nationally ranked teaching hospitals, Barnes-Jewish Hospital and St. Louis Children’s Hospital. In addition to our 50 affiliated sites in the St. Louis area, students can choose from 150 practicum opportunities across the United States. Who should apply? We require no prerequisite courses for AuD applicants, and we encourage students of all undergraduate majors to apply.
