Resources and information regarding patient privacy, Washington University Physicians policies and our MyChart service are provided below. Washington University Physicians Our surgeons are all full-time physicians and surgeons of Washington University School of Medicine and follow the policies of the Washington University Physicians. MyChart MyChart is a free personalized service provided to our patients to manage their personal health care information.  With a MyChart account, you can gain secure access to your medical records and health information, request medical appointments, view test results, request prescription renewals, pay medical bills, access trusted health resources and communicate securely online with your medical care team. You can find your MyChart Access Code on your After Visit Summary or sign up without a code. Login, use your Access Code, or sign up here. Uploading Photos “How-to” upload pictures to your EPIC MyChart for your physician to review in preparation for an appointment or if asked by your doctor. Upload with iPhone/Mobile Device Video Tutorial The video tutorial below reviews how to use MyChart to communicate with your medical care team and send pictures or other files from your mobile device: Step-by-step Instructions Take up to 3 photos. Have good lighting. Log into MyChart. Choose “Messages” option. Choose “Send a Message” option. Choose ‘Medical Advice’ option. Select the “To” section and choose your doctor. Select “Subject” and choose ‘Non-urgent Medical Question’. Select “Add an Attachment” at the bottom (greyed-out camera). Upload an existing photo that you took from your phone (up to 3). Add any comments needed. Send (envelope at top) Upload with Web Browser Video Tutorial See the video tutorial below reviewing how to use MyChart to communicate with your medical care team and send pictures or other files from your computer: Step-by-step Instructions Take up to 3 photos. Have good lighting. Log into MyChart. Choose “Messaging” option at the top. Choose “Ask a Question” option (in drop down list). Choose ‘I have a question for my physician’ option. Choose your doctor. Choose ‘Non-urgent Medical Question’ for subject. Add comments needed in comments box (required). Select “Add an Image” at the bottom (max 3MB). Upload an existing photo (up to 3).
