The program of study requires 95 credit hours, taken over three years.  Graduates with the dual MBA/MPH degree will have the interdisciplinary functional and critical-thinking skill set needed for distinctive impact and leadership in hospitals and pharmaceutical firms, healthcare consulting, policy think tanks, public administration and other management roles across the healthcare industry spectrum.  The MBA program takes a global and experiential approach–in the first summer, students travel from St. Louis to Washington D.C. to Barcelona and Shanghai for a series of immersive experiential learning opportunities. In the MPH program, students learn how to advance equity through coursework that examines health outcomes through epidemiological, policy, sociocultural and population perspectives. An emphasis on applied research ensures students know how to translate their findings into real-world impact.  Contact the Office of Admissions at [email protected] to learn more about the MPH/MBA program.  Application Information New students applying to this dual-degree program must apply to the MPH program through SOPHAS, the centralized application service for public health, and also submit a separate application for the MBA program through the Olin Business School.  Current Washington University graduate students currently enrolled in the MBA program who wish to add the MPH should apply through SOPHAS and are eligible for a discounted fee waiver code when they submit their application.
