As a research university this is often the case and you may be requested to create a poster. As design and visual art students you need to consider some basic questions that will support your work, regardless of the visual nature, so that you can speak to a broad audience. They are: – What is the most important/interesting/astounding finding from my research project? – How can I visually share my research with conference attendees? Should I use charts, graphs, photos, images? – What kind of information can I convey during my talk that will complement my poster? More information can be found here.
