We have expanded to take 14 residents per class and are in the process of recruiting our next intern class. To date we have graduated nearly 290 emergency physicians, and our graduates continue to make an impact on the EM community here in St. Louis as well as on the national and international stage.  Each generation of residents is forging a stronger class behind it. To this end we hope to increase our alumni giving. The WUSM Alumni website makes it easy to set up scheduled donations to the residency alumni fund. This fund will be used to pay for many of the things that make our residency stand out in the future such as travel scholarships, visiting lecturers, research scholarships, along with many other niceties and necessities of residency. With your help, we will continue to make WashU EM one of the best residence programs in the country!  Current and Past Residents Visit our Resident Graduates List Since graduating our first class in 2000, we now have over 290 alumni practicing.  In the past 5 years of graduates, below are details about which types of positions our residents decided to pursue post-training:  Community = 45%Academic = 28%Fellowship = 27%  Education Simulation Residency Fellowships Medical Students Alumni Alumni News/ Updates Alumni Photos Giving Options Department of Emergency Medicine660 S.
