The company announced an additional&＃160;$27 million&＃160;in Series C financing on January 19, closing out the round at more than&＃160;$38 million. To date,&＃160;Capacity&＃160;has raised more than&＃160;$62 million, according to a press release from the company. The latest round, which comes on the heels of recognition from the&＃160;EdTech Breakthrough Awards,&＃160;FinTech Awards 2021&＃160;and&＃160;KMWorld&＃8217;s AI50, was led by existing investors. Support automation &＃8220;The future of work is here,&＃8221; said Karandish, a serial entrepreneur who received his BSCS from WashU in 2005 with a second major in entrepreneurship at Olin. &＃8220;Companies are demanding better technology to keep their workforce connected.&＃8221; He said support automation &＃8220;is the next big thing in helping businesses do their best work.&＃8221; The helpdesk automation market is projected to exceed more than&＃160;$17 billion&＃160;by 2024. &＃8220;Capacity is well-positioned to empower teams to work productively and cohesively regardless of location,&＃8221; according to the release. Capacity is an AI-powered support automation platform that connects a business&＃8217; entire tech stack to answer questions, automate repetitive support tasks and build solutions to business challenges.
