This funding opportunity enables community and WashU partnerships to develop and create solutions that address the needs of people experiencing housing insecurity and serious mental illness. Partnerships must in include at least one (1) community partner and one (1) WashU partner who is a Public Health Faculty Scholar. Applicants can apply for up to $10,000. Next Steps in Public Health: Mental & Behavioral Health Pilot Project Funding Submission Deadline: August 31, 2024 The Institute for Public Health calls for pilot projects that address the needs of people experiencing housing insecurity and serious mental illness. To facilitate and enhance the translation of science into practice, these projects must be developed through a community/academic partnership consisting of at least one community partner and one WashU partner, who is also an Institute for Public Health Faculty Scholar. Selected teams can apply for one-time funding of up to $30,000. This new funding opportunity stems from the institute’s recent Next Steps in Public Health: Mental & Behavioral Health event, called “Power in Partnership: Bridging from crisis to community for people experiencing housing insecurity and serious mental illness”. Just-In-Time Core Usage Funding Program Ongoing funding opportunity Provided by the Institute for Clinical and Translational Sciences, the Just-In-Time (JIT) Core Usage Funding Program is designed to provide quick access to funding to use any of the JIT Cores for research advancing medical knowledge that can improve human health. D&I Pilot Funding Grant cycle is currently closed These opportunities are designed to support a broad range of dissemination and implementation studies and aim to support the development of projects to the point at which they’re ready to compete for external funding. D&I Add-on Funding Ongoing funding opportunity The Center for Dissemination & Implementation and the Implementation Science Center for Cancer Control offer two mechanisms for add-on funding in the field of Dissemination & Implementation (D&I) research: Rapid Cycle Add-on (RADD) and Methods & Measurements Add-on (MMADD). Conceptual and Methodological Review Grants Grant cycle is currently closed. The Center for Dissemination and Implementation offers Conceptual and Methodological (CAM) Review Grants as a funding mechanism to encourage WashU investigators to enhance conceptual and methodological understanding through the conduct of scoping, systematic or other review methods.
