Azad Bonni Symposium On Tuesday, January 16, 2024, the Department of Neuroscience celebrated the contributions of Dr. Azad Bonni, former Chair, and his lab with a full day of presentations by Department members past and present as well as close colleagues from other institutions. 2023 Department End-of-Year Celebration The Department of Neuroscience celebrated an outstanding year of teaching and research with a beautiful dinner at the Trolley Room in Forest Park and live music by the jazz artist Anita Jackson. Dr. Martha Bagnall&＃8217;s tenure celebration Congratulations to Martha Bagnall, PhD, who was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure! Dr. Paul Bridgman&＃8217;s retirement celebration The Department of Neuroscience celebrated the four-decade career of Professor Paul Bridgman on July 22, 2023. 2022 Department Fall Social Department of Neuroscience members spent an afternoon crafting, snacking and socializing! Ann Olendorff&＃8217;s retirement celebration After more than 35 years of overseeing daily operations, laboratory renovations, and high-tech equipment installations, Ann Olendorff has retired. Tami Evans&＃8217; retirement reception Tami Evans, the pre-clinical business manager for the department, is stepping down after 19 years in the department. We celebrated her career on June 23, 2022. Mellie Euler&＃8217;s retirement party Mellie Euler, a special project administrator, is retiring from the Department of Neuroscience after 20 years. We celebrated her career on June 16, 2022.
