American Cancer Society – Institutional Research Grant Award The American Cancer Society Institutional Research Grant (ACS-IRG) supports junior faculty conducting cancer research pilot projects to obtain preliminary results that will enable them to compete successfully for national research grants. Applicants who are not already Siteman Cancer Center members must apply for membership at the time of submission of their application. Center for Drug Discovery – Siteman Cancer Center QuikSTART Grant The Center for Drug Discovery (CDD) and the Siteman Cancer Center partnered to create a new grant program. The $15,000 QuikSTARTs are designed to advance the translation of new discoveries in cancer disease biology into small molecule therapeutics. Offered three times per year (March 31, July 31, and November 30), the grants will aid in generating preliminary data that may lead to full grant proposals and extramural funding.  Grants are open to all Washington University faculty (Assistant professor and above) holding Siteman Cancer Center membership.
