WashU Olin’s Center for Experiential Learning partners with you to scope your project and guide our teams in developing actionable deliverables. Center for Experiential Learning Our Center for Experiential Learning is a hub for hands-on learning, with eight unique programs designed to provide students with real-world experience. The CEL manages student consulting projects and plays a vital role in students’ leadership development and readiness for the working world. Our CELect team helped Honeymoon Chocolates execute a community-based strategy that resulted in an 80% increase in revenue for our retail storefront over the course of 8 weeks. —Cam Loyet, CEO, Honeymoon Chocolates Corporate involvement with WashU Olin students in experiential learning opportunities is a win-win—fresh insights for your organization and invaluable experience for our students. CELect (CEL Entrepreneurial Consulting Team) With CELect, or CEL Entrepreneurial Consulting Team, students tackle consulting projects for entrepreneurial organizations. Open to all WashU students, CELect projects are student-led and faculty-advised. CEL Practicum Practicums are semester-long consulting projects focused on established organizations in the for-profit and nonprofit spaces. Open to all WashU students, practicums are student-led and faculty-advised. CFAR Practicum The Wells Fargo Advisors Center for Finance and Accounting Research offers finance-focused practicum projects for students to solve with various analytic tools. All projects are student-led and faculty-advised.   Marketing Metrics Clinic Olin students apply analytical skills to enterprises in the startup ecosystem in the Marketing Metrics Clinics. All projects are student-led and faculty-advised. Small Business Initiative With the Small Business Initiative, undergraduate student consultants provide actionable recommendations that directly impact the success of local small businesses. All projects are student-led and faculty-advised. Summer Virtual Consulting Program Teams of students work virtually on six-week consulting projects over the summer. Eligible students include rising Olin second- and third-year students and specialized master’s students. View brochure Taylor Community Consulting Program The Taylor Community Consulting Program provides nonprofit consulting for organizations with 501c3 status that impact the local St. Louis community. Open to all WashU students, the program is student-led and faculty-advised. Olin/United Way Board Fellows Program This program involves Olin students pursuing an MBA, Professional MBA or dual degree with the law or social work schools sitting on the board of a United Way agency for a full calendar year.  Research Centers WashU Olin’s six research centers are an important resource that benefits your organization and pushes ideas further. In addition to supporting research that addresses high-priority issues and emerging business challenges, centers also manage and supervise student consulting teams working on client projects in the areas of analytics, finance, strategy, leadership, accounting, marketing, operations, economics and entrepreneurship.
