As the Associate Director of Community Partnerships at the Social Policy Institute, he cultivates partnerships with a variety of community organizations to help them understand and solve pressing social problems. His work has been supported by a variety of foundations, including Ascendium, the James S. McDonnell Foundation, the Smith Richardson Foundation, and the William T. Grant Foundation, and his research has appeared in places like Urban Education, Race and Social Problems, Brookings, and Forbes. In addition to research, Jabbari teaches courses on education policies and politics, and he recently received one of CORTEX’s EdHub fellowships to create a web application that matches job-seekers and employers with upskilling programs in local labor markets.
