Specialty practices within this location include dermatology, women’s health (obstetrics and gynecology), psychiatry, lab and radiology services, primary care, and neurology. Ophthalmology sub-specialties at this location include: comprehensive ophthalmology, medical optometry, glaucoma, cornea, ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery, neuro-ophthalmology, and retina. There are 5 other adult multi-specialty eye clinics on the School of Medicine campuses that house a mixture of specialties similar to the Center for Outpatient Health. Program Mission Statement The Mission of the WUSTL Optometric Residency is to recruit and train qualifiedgraduate optometrists, and advance their clinical skills beyond entry-level competency through a training experience centered around a wide variety of systemic, ophthalmic, and refractive disorders. Current Optometry Residents Kevin La, OD Optometry Resident 2023 – 2024 Selection Procedure and Admission Criteria Selection Procedure: Participation in the OR Match Service Must submit letter of interest Curriculum Vitae 3 letters of recommendation Official optometry school transcripts Completed applications are reviewed, qualified applicants are interviewed and a ranking is submitted to OR Match which determines the final selection. Admission Criteria Applicants must complete t he OR Match application by the deadline of February 1st.
