She aims to identify culturally appropriate interventions that promote gender equality and improve reproductive health and development outcomes. Levy is also a faculty scholar at the Institute for Public Health and a member of the School’s Global Advisory Committee. Levy has worked in underserved communities in the United States, Latin America, sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. She has provided research support and technical guidance as a consultant for multilateral and bilateral governmental and non-governmental agencies, including large private organizations such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Levy is also the senior reproductive health associate with Iris Group, a consulting firm working to enhance the inclusion of groups marginalized by gender, sexual orientation, economic status and/or race/ethnicity. She also co-founded and sits on the board of the Minga Foundation, a non-governmental organization that partners with community-based organizations to improve socioeconomic conditions and health equity among vulnerable populations.
