Students interested in research are encouraged to discuss opportunities for active involvement with an academic adviser, or directly with a faculty member. Research Internships Washington University UG Students: Several internship opportunities are available during the school year and the summer. Washington University students can do research for elective credit or as a paid intern. Please contact the interested faculty member's directly for opportunities and details. International Students should apply by January 15 by filling out the Summer Research Internship Application form ($ 5000 total for 10 week program). Please note that there are special opportunities for UGs interested in PhD studies from the following Universities: IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Gandhinagar, Seoul National University and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Limited opportunities are available for students from other Universities. Students pursuing a bachelor's degree from other universities in the U.S.: Fill the Summer Research Internship Application form by January 15 for consideration for a 10 week internship program ($ 5000 total). Career Opportunities for EECE Undergraduates The Department has a well-established Industry Partnership Program and the following activities will help connect to Industry. McKelvey Engineering Career Spotlight: Held in the fall, this event attracts companies interested in hiring EECE undergraduate and graduate students.
