Together, they are full-service centers that provide state-of-the-art technology in support of basic and translational research, as well as diagnostic activities of the Medical Campus. Some of these facilities provide services to outside customers on a contractual basis. However, all are generally available to Washington University School of Medicine faculty. AMP Core Labs: The Anatomic and Molecular Pathology Core Labs (AMP Labs) is a CAP/CLIA certified resource that provides clinical and research services in anatomic pathology. Cytogenetics Core: The Cytogenetics Core provides a comprehensive menu of cytogenetic tests for human and mouse tissues. The core also offers consultation and support for clinical trials/studies for which CAP/CLIA certification is needed. Digital Imaging Center: The Digital Imaging Center is a joint resource of the Department of Pathology & Immunology and Barnes Jewish Hospital. The center specializes in digital imaging for clinical, teaching and research applications. Electron Microscopy Facility: The Electron Microscopy Facility (CAP/CLIA certified) provides a variety of electron microscopy services for clinical and research use, including: Tissue processing and embedding and routine transmission electron microscopy for cell culture and tissue specimens. Flow Cytometry Core: The Flow Cytometry Core provides investigators with instrumentation and support for cell sorting as well as assistance with experimental design, acquisition and analysis of flow cytometry data.  Hybridoma Center: With over 35 years of experience, the Hybridoma Center assists investigators in the generation of custom monoclonal antibody-producing B cell hybridomas. Transgenic, Knockout and Micro-Injection Core: The Transgenic, Knockout and Micro-Injection Core offers a wide array of mouse embryo manipulation techniques, including cryopreservation of mouse lines, cryopreservation/storage of mouse sperm, embryo rederivation, embryos thawing and IVF.   A variety of relevant core facilities are available elsewhere in the institution.
