These agencies also serve as training locations for both the General Residency and the Child and Adolescent training program. These partnerships maximize the impact of the Department across the community and help increase access to mental health care through the area. Our community partners BJC Behavioral Health Provides and coordinates an array of mental health services for citizens residing in St. Louis City, St. Louis County and the counties of St. Francois, Iron and Washington, Missouri. Website BJC Extended Care One of the premiere Skilled Nursing Homes and Senior Rehabilitation Centers in the greater St. Louis area. Website Clayton Behavioral Clayton Behavioral provides smart, compassionate treatment to persons with mental health and addictive disorders. Website Covenant House Missouri Covenant House Missouri welcomes youth who are runaway, trafficked, at-risk, or experiencing homelessness with unconditional love, absolute respect and a place to call home. Website Missouri Department of Social Services The Missouri Department of Social Services coordinates public assistance programs, health care coverage and child welfare services throughout the state. Website Epworth Children and Family Services Epworth offers a wide range of services to meet the needs of the greater St. Louis community, especially those who are most vulnerable or at-risk. Website Harris House Harris House Treatment and Recovery Center offers five treatment programs to help alcoholic and chemically dependent persons achieve sobriety. Website Hawthorn Children’s Psychiatric Hospital Hawthorn is a children’s psychiatric hospital that is owned and operated by the Missouri Department of Mental Health. Website Independence Center Independence Center is a community-based rehabilitation program for adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses in the St. Louis area, built on the Clubhouse model of psychosocial rehabilitation. Website Places for People Places for People high-quality, recovery-based treatment for mental illness and substance use disorders. Website Preferred Family Healthcare A community-based health care organization that offers a range of services in nearly 100 locations. Website Special School District of St. Louis County Special School District of St. Louis County provides special education services for all St. Louis County students with disabilities, and technical education for area high school students. Website Washington University Human Resources Employee Wellness Wellness Connection programs designed to help Washington University employees thrive at work and outside of work.
