These civic leadership programs provide powerful experiences that support experiential education, civic leadership development, internship opportunities, and help students explore how to align civic and community engagement with their own passions and skills. All students interested in deepening their understanding of and experience with nonprofit work, public policy, grassroots organizing, public health, the arts, and more, all through the lens of civic and community engagement, are encouraged to apply. Interested in learning more about CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS)?The WashU Emergency Support Team is hosting the American Heart Association BLS/CPR classes to teach how to identify life-threatening emergencies. The focus of the course provides education on how to perform CPR for adults, infants, and children, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner.Undergraduate students will be able to receive a subsidized class at no cost.Learn more and sign up for communication here.
