Cohn, BSBA 2008 and a&＃160;2017 Emerging Leader Honoree, started the company on WashU&＃8217;s campus. It&＃8217;s now the nation&＃8217;s leading provider of one-on-one instruction and headquartered in Clayton. &＃8220;We decided there was an opportunity to step up in a big way,&＃8221;&＃160;Cohn told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch&＃160;on Monday. The platform includes math, reading, writing, literature and science courses for every grade level, expert-guided study hall sessions and age-appropriate enrichment units, such as &＃8220;the science of pandemics&＃8221; for middle schoolers, the newspaper reported. Cohn said Varsity Tutors won&＃8217;t profit from the free classes, but he thinks the coronavirus crisis will make online learning more mainstream.
